Tim, once more, thanks for your invaluable editing and thanks for sharing Afia Amoako’s piece. It’s a profound reminder of the cultural significance of not just palm oil but all those goods we prdouce locally that have deeper roots than those in the trees and plant we grow. I see it here in Patagonia with Monkey Puzzle Trees and their seeds, harvested by Mapuches and now endangered by colonialism.
Red Palm Oil definitely seems worth exploring further!
