Once again, David puts the emphasis where it is really needed.As he thoroughly states, the challenge is permanence. Planting trees and restoring soil carbon is one thing, but how long will it stay in a warmer, riskier climate? Nature-based solutions put us on a treadmill — we might have to restore nature continually. On the bright side, a world actively restoring nature doesn’t sound like a bad treadmill to be on.
