How Writing a Book For Kids Turned Into a Journey of Self-Discovery

Memories define who we are

I was pitching my idea about a book to a really promising client when my partner interrupted the conversation:

Are you feeling OK?

Her voice triggered me, and I just couldn’t hold back the tears any longer.

The weight of the moment had caught up with me.

But because it came from the hidden source of my only memory with my dad.

A Light Bulb

Being part of the travel industry, I thought of writing an interactive book for kids and parents.

One that would perform as a transformative bridge and self-guided adventure to reconnect and find each other while traveling.

All while completing dynamics, answering questions, and engaging in crazy topic conversations:

The Book of Discovery.

To achieve this, I had to come up with ideas to spark the curiosity of both children and parents.

Little did I know this activity would turn out to be an emotional and soul-stirring experience for all of us.
