It’s another rainy day here in Patagonia.
I’m commuting to work, reading a book about dinosaurs.
Because, why can only kids know everything about them?
But it’s hard to concentrate.
Not because of the rain. Or the speeding, the turning, and the sudden stopping.
I just can’t keep from glancing over at my anonymous seat partner’s phone and seeing him swiping likes on Tinder with no mercy. There is zero judgment in his choices: he’s on a hunt.
And that’s when it hits me: he’s a Tinder T-Rex, looking for an innocent Tinderella to feed him.
And furthermore, I realize we all act like different dinosaurs during different phases of our relationships.
It only depends on the type of diet we are on.
