Exactly. And speaking the truth, this piece was triggered by having this kind of conversation with my girldfriend and mother in law, their need to buy a new phone maybe not every year but when their phones are still fully functional...

I can (sort of proudly) say that I never bought a phone: always inherited someone elses waste.
