Benjamin, that’s a beautiful reflection on how young minds are absorbing the weight of climate change—not just as a set of actions but as a deeper ethical shift. The fact that these sixth graders are connecting personal choices to broader equity shows a level of awareness that many adults struggle with. The challenge, of course, is ensuring they don’t lose that fire as they grow older and face systems that push convenience over conscience. How do we keep that spark alive beyond the classroom?
